Newsflash

Angelshells, a Reseller Company, owned by Cody-.  Most Shell providers already know of Cody- as someone that begs for shells and would advertise the company in a Efnet Channel.  Later on the channel kicked cody- out Tongue out

As of the last we knew about it Cody- was planning to make a comeback but no official news has been released.  The #angelshells Channel on IRC Network Efnet is still controlled by a botnet but Cody- himself is no where to be found.

-----------------------

Primeshells seems to be another company with Cody- involved that seems to have gone belly up.  Hopefully he has learned from his mistakes and no one was seriously put out but this endeavor.

Some Shell Providers out there try shameful ways of advertising.  On Irc Networks (Such as Efnet - where alot of companies host their online support channels) some companies have resorted to shameful spamming of their company.  Some will make up a user and spam with that user and some will even use their own logins to spam their companies.

One way of doing this is joining muliple channels spam their advertisement then part the channels.  Usually the ad wont be their channel itself but a dummy channel with a WIN AN ACCOUNT deal.

Sometimes its a former client pissed off with the company that will attempt to spam them to make them look bad.  Either a client that was banned/removed for violating the TOS of that company.

On Friday 1-8-2010 such a lame advertising ploy was used in reference to Logishells and a winashell channel promotion they are doing.
